We are honored to welcome Dr. Paul S. Bishop, DPM, FACFAS, to our expanding team of podiatric specialists. Dr. Bishop brings more than 20 years of private practice experience and extensive fellowship training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, deformity correction, external fixation, trauma applications, and joint replacement.
His clinical background includes advanced surgical procedures, pediatric and adult deformity correction, sports-related injuries, and comprehensive foot and ankle reconstruction. Having completed training programs in Houston, Chicago, Dallas, and Milan, Italy, Dr. Bishop also offers a wide-reaching perspective that complements our established surgical leadership.
Equally important, Dr. Bishop shares our commitment to providing compassionate, patient-first care, a philosophy that prioritizes clear communication, education, and individualized treatment planning.

Welcoming Dr. Rebecca Varney to the Foot & Ankle Center of Arizona
The practice is also excited to welcome Dr. Rebecca Varney, DPM, a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon dedicated to keeping patients active, healthy, and confidently on their feet.
Dr. Varney earned her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh and her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University. She completed her residency in foot and ankle surgery at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Virginia, followed by an advanced fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at the CORE Institute in Phoenix. Her fellowship training emphasized total ankle replacement, deformity correction, trauma, and sports-related injuries.
Known for her collaborative approach to care, Dr. Varney believes that exceptional outcomes begin with listening—working closely with patients to understand their goals and develop personalized treatment plans that fit their lifestyle.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Varney enjoys hiking Arizona’s scenic trails, golfing, traveling, and discovering new restaurants throughout the Valley.
