Specialty Procedures

At the Foot and Ankle Center of Arizona, our doctors are always looking for new techniques and improvements to the practice. Below are some of the special procedures that are performed at our North Scottsdale office.

Foot and Ankle Procedures

  1. Ankle Arthroscopy: This is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that is used to diagnose and treat problems inside the ankle joint. It involves inserting a small camera (arthroscope) into the joint through a small incision to visualize and repair any issues.
  2. Minimally Invasive Bunion Surgery: This refers to surgical techniques used to correct bunions (bony deformities at the base of the big toe) using smaller incisions and less invasive methods compared to traditional open bunion surgery.
  3. Achilles Tendon Treatment: This likely includes both non-surgical and surgical treatments for problems related to the Achilles tendon, such as tendinitis, tears, or other injuries.
  4. Flatfoot Reconstruction: This involves surgical procedures to correct flatfoot deformities, which can be caused by various factors like abnormal foot structure, injury, or other conditions.
  5. Bunion Treatment: This encompasses both non-surgical and surgical approaches to treat bunions, which may include padding, orthotics, medication, and/or surgery depending on the severity of the condition.
